I believe in being open about that. I do not, however, believe that using a particular tool requires either an apology or a defence. The ideas I choose to pursue, the material I accept or reject, the revisions I make and the work ultimately published here remain entirely mine.
This statement is therefore intended as disclosure, not confession.
If you dislike the use of AI in principle, I respect your right to do so. You may consequently feel that mine is not the work for you. You hopefully have a great deal of life ahead of you, and there is a very large internet beyond these pages, containing more books, stories and writers than any of us could hope to exhaust. I wish you every happiness in exploring it.
